Color & Portrait Painting
This oil painting class aims to combine the study of Color and Portraiture. We will access the art of the portrait through the lens of color. Using the Henry Hensche color method as taught at Studio Incamminati, we will come to better understanding of the principles and concepts of color relationships and how they are applied to painting the portrait. Students will leave with a total of 6 portrait paintings completed from our life models and a new way of seeing color and its possibilities toward painting in general and especially portraits. Let’s open pandoras box into the world of color!
The instructor will demonstrate or lecture at the beginning of each class.
