Open Studio model sessions
Draw, paint, or sketch from the best professional models in the region in Studio Incamminati’s art studios. Easels and taborets (rolling tables for your supplies) are provided, you only need to bring your art supplies. Saturday sessions are 9am-4pm with a 1 hr. lunch break @ 12pm. The model takes a single pose all day.
Open Studio is a limited-structure art environment where participating artists simultaneously draw or paint from a central figure model at a discounted rate; good for building a portfolio, experimenting with new media or styles, or creating finished figurative artwork. Each session has a monitor who works with the models and can answer any questions. All are welcome!
The Friday before the session, participants will be emailed travel/facilities information as well as “virtual keys” that allow access to the building. For questions, reach out at info@studioincamminati.edu or call (215) 592-7910 ex. 1.

Information:
- If you are painting in oil, Odorless Mineral Spirits or Gamsol are the only solvents allowed – sorry no turpentine.
- The 821 Dudley Street entrance is open from 9AM-6PM on Saturdays. Studio Incamminati is located on the 7th floor.
- You do not need to attend the entire session to participate. If you arrive while a model is posing, please wait until the break to enter the studio – poses are 20 minutes.
- Anyone can join whether it’s the 1st or 2nd day of a pose. If you join on the 1st day and would like to continue your painting/drawing, please remember to tape your spot with your name/date and then be sure to register for the 2nd day.
Open Studio Payment and Refund Policies
Due to limited class space, tuition is non-refundable. A credit for tuition may be issued up to
30 days before the first workshop class. No credit will be issued after that time. Credits are valid from one year of issue. Registration and enrollment is first-come, first-served with full tuition due at time of registration.
