The Portrait in 3/4 view- online
This is an eight week online course offering a comprehensive introduction to the portrait in three quarters. This class is best suited for beginning and intermediate students, but advanced students are sure to also benefit as it offers a detailed study of the human head and shoulder girdle in a three-quarter view.
Through the demonstration rich course students will learn about the skeleton, musculature and skin.
The approach is layered: skeleton, muscle and skin. Program attendees will be provided with helpful bony, muscle, flesh landmarks and the relationships between them which will then help inform drawings made from life, photographic reference or imagination.
All reference material will be provided by the instructor.
