Why is Accreditation Imporant to you?
While many may believe all art institutions offer the same degrees, that is not necessarily true. While some unaccredited programs might offer valuable learning experiences, not all educational institutions are created equal. Attending an accredited institution can mean that
- You are eligible for Federal Financial Aid.
- You may be able to transfer credits to another school (up to the discretion of the other institution)
- You will be more likely to land a career in desired industry. Graduating from an accredited college assures potential employers you recieved a quality education, this saves employers the time and expense of administering a test to determine whether you have the requisite knowledge and skills for the role.
Accreditation can make a difference between embarking on an exciting career path or being saddled with debt and meritless credits.
