Studio Incamminati, School for Contemporary Realist Art annually distributes to all enrolled students a notice of the availability of institutional and financial aid information. This information is required to be made available under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) and under HEA Sec. 485(a)(1), Sec. 485(f), Sec. 485(g), [Sec. 485(h)] and Sec. 485(j).

Students are sent a notification of the availability of institutional and financial aid information via email annually. This information may also be obtained via this page, which contains a comprehensive list of all information students are entitled to receive along with direct links to the content referred to on this page.

In the Higher Education Act (HEA), as amended, Congress requires that all post-secondary schools participating in Title IV programs annually distribute to all enrolled students a notice of the availability of institutional and financial aid information. This notice must list and briefly describe the required information and include a statement of the procedures required to obtain the information. That list is shown below. Available Financial Aid Assistance

Description of all available federal, state, local, private and institutional financial need-based and non-need based assistance programs, and for each program a description of:

• Criteria for determining the amount of a student’s award
• Rights and responsibilities of students receiving Title IV and other financial aid, including:
• Criteria for continued eligibility

Policies and Sanctions on Copyright Infringement

Studio Incamminati prohibits copyright infringement including peer-to-peer file sharing. Studio Incamminati will take disciplinary action against students who distributes unauthorized copyrighted materials including peer-to-peer file sharing and the prohibited use of the institution’s information technology system for those activities. Disciplinary action will be taken against students involved in such an act and will report to the proper authorities.

Drug and Alcohol Prevention

Studio Incamminati is committed to a campus free of illegal drug use, misuse and abuse of prescription drugs, underage drinking and alcohol abuse. Unlawful possession as well as the distribution of illegal drugs or alcohol is prohibited on school property or as part of its activities. Studio Incamminati will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and will apply appropriate internal disciplinary processes should a student, faculty, or staff member violate criminal statutes with regard to illegal drugs or possession or sale of alcohol.

Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

The Family Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, is a federal law which provides that schools will maintain the confidentiality of student education records. The law says that no one outside the institution shall have access to students’ education records nor will the institution disclose any information from those records without the written consent of students. There are exceptions so that certain authorized personnel within the institution may see the records in an emergency to protect the health or safety of students or other persons.

Studio Incamminati’s FERPA policy contains information pertaining to:

• Student’s right to review their education records; request amendment of records; consent to disclosures of personally identifiable information; and file complaints with the U.S. Department of Education.
• Procedures for reviewing education records and requesting amendment of the records.
• Information about the Studio Incamminati’s policy regarding disclosures to school officials with a legitimate educational interest in the education records.

Studio Incamminati will distribute annually to all enrolled students information about:

• The right to review their education records; request amendment of records; consent to disclosures of personally identifiable information; and file complaints with the U.S. Department of Education.
• Procedures for reviewing education records and requesting amendment of the records.

Studio Incamminati encourages student to register to vote and has voter registration forms available. The National Mail Voter Registration Form is available from the U.S. Election assistance commission (EAC) website.

U.S. citizens who are students and of voting age, can find information specific to their states of residence from Election Assistance Office or call them at 866-747-1471.

How do I register to vote?

Students may register to vote by completing and submitting the National Mail Voter Registration Form. This form may be used to report a name or address change to the voter registration office or to register with a political party. Students may obtain this form in person from the following public facilities:

• State or local election offices
• The Department of Motor Vehicles
• Public Assistance Agencies
• Stat funded programs that serve people with disabilities
• Any public facility a state has designated as a voter registration agency such as public libraries, public schools, city or clerk’s offices.

Am I eligible to vote?

Students must be 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen to be eligible to vote. Individual states may have their own requirements, which are outlined in the “State Instructions” section of the National Mail Voter Registration Form.
